Our 10 BEST things to do in ParisNo.1
Our Favourite for Romance and View No trip to Paris is complete without a picnic on the Pont des Arts. Take a fresh baguette, together with a selection of French cheese (fromage), olives, cold meats (charcuterie), a rug and whatever else takes your fancy, and dine like a king. It can get cold so good chance to cuddle up. Awesome views and a great photo location. |

Our 10 FREE things do do in ParisNo 1.
The Louvre Visit the most famous museum in the world for FREE. If you're lucky and can plan to visit on the first Sunday of the month, entry is FREE. No restrictions, obviously it is a bit busier but worth it because it's always busy. It is easy to spend a day if your legs can cope. It's vast, usually most stop absorbing it after 2/3 hours. If you miss the Sunday and have to pay the entrance fee it is still by far the best value ticket in town. Other museums offer the FREE Sunday entrance as well. So choose your favourite. |
Our FAVOURITE restaurants in ParisNo.1
Le Taxi Jaune Traditional French high quality seasonal cuisine. Always a local crowd with a few expats. One of the few local bistro's still serving cheval (horse meat). Don't let that put you off though, it's been our favourite for many years. No fancy decor, eclectic clientele of regulars from nearby art galleries, fashion warehouses and local Marais residents. A little more pricey so maybe do the lunch deal if your being frugal. Tell Otis, we sent you. Open only on weekdays Rue Chapon 3rd Arr. Metro Art's et Metiers |
